A driver arrested on suspicion of drug driving on the A11 was found to have two children in the vehicle - and one was not wearing a seatbelt because it was being used to stop a TV getting damaged in the boot.

The incident happened on the A11 at Larling, near Attleborough.

Sgt Chris Harris, from Norfolk Police, tweeted on Saturday afternoon: 'Pre-emptive stop on a vehicle with my @NSRoadsPolicing team #A11 #Larling Driver has 2 children onboard neither in a child seat & driver has provided a positive @DrugWipeUK & has been arrested on suspicion of #DrugDriving #Fatal4 #NorfolkRoads.'

He added: 'The child in the middle seat was not wearing a seatbelt either, as it was being used to hold the TV up in the boot, so it didn't get damaged #Fatal4Sgt.'
