People living and working in the Wymondham area are being invited to a public meeting next week to find out more about the work their local Safer Neighbourhood Team has been carrying out on their behalf.
Local people will also be able to raise any issues which may be concerning them and for which they would like to see action taken.
The Wymondham Safer Neighbourhood Team comprises of local police officers, police community support officers, local housing managers, and staff from South Norfolk Council and Norfolk County Council.
In recent weeks the team has been concentrating on: reducing disorder in Wymondham Town Centre including the Abbey grounds; tackling speeding in the town centre; and reducing alcohol abuse and the associated disorder in open parklands.
People attending the meeting will be able to hear what the team has done to tackle these key priorities and will also have an opportunity to influence which three areas of work will be prioritised over the next three months.
The meeting is due to be held on Tuesday, January 29, at 7.30pm at Wymondham High School.
