Proposals for new permanent changing rooms for Wymondham Town Football Club have been submitted.

Wymondham Town Council has applied for planning permission to replace an existing mobile on Ketts Park, off Harts Farm Road, with a 115 sqm brick building complete with changing facilities, toilets and a small kitchen. The mobile currently sits between the Ketts Park community centre and tennis courts.

In planning documents submitted on behalf of the town council, Building Plan Ltd, from Taverham, said: 'The aim of the application is to provide the football club with changing facilities and a permanent base for the club's future development and progression with a sensitively designed building which will integrate itself into the site and add to the diversity and character of the area.'

The town council previously gained planning permission in 2009 for a new sports pavilion at the site but was unable to raise the funds for the project.
