Royal wedding fever is not just for us humans as a dog care service has launched a competition to coincide with the national event.

Barking Mad Dog Care, based in Hethersett, are appealing for dogs who share their names with the royal couple to feature as the faces of their wedding chaperone service.

Entrants should submit a photo of their pet named Harry or Meghan (or Meg) dressed in their best VIP attire to Barking Mad’s Facebook page to win a photoshoot and food for their dog.

Helen Tyler, who runs the Norwich South branch in Hethersett, said: “We would love to find a canine Harry and Meghan to help us celebrate the royal wedding so please contact us if your dog is suitably named.

“Our dog wedding chaperone service was born out of our understanding that dogs really are a part of the family and to help our customers include their beloved pet in their big day.”
