An Attleborough pest control firm which uses birds of prey to deter birds, was shortlisted for four out of 11 categories at the Franchise Marketing Awards in London last week.

NBC Bird and Pest Solutions scooped the Best Recruitment Literature Award - following up on last year's Best PR Campaign.

Held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, the event was hosted by comedian Frankie Boyle.

Marketing manager Kelly Smith said the award, which won the firm £2,000 worth of HR4UK.com personnel services, was a real reflection on the excellence of the NBC Bird and Pest Solutions franchise.

NBC is a unique national company that offers falconry and proofing as methods of bird control. It is the natural choice of companies which take social and environmental responsibility seriously.

The firm has also recently earned the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, for quality management systems, thanks to the hard work of NBC's compliance manager Isla Lawrence, from Attleborough.

John Dickson, NBC's managing director said: “Customer focus and quality service has been a key aspect of the business and with the ISO systems in place this will make certain that this high level of customer service is maintained.”

NBC still has many franchise opportunities available nationwide.
