Green-fingered town residents raised more than £1,000 for dementia support at a garden autumn fair.
Wymondham Garden Centre’s first Autumn Fair showcased local crafters, florists, food suppliers, groups and charities, while also raising £1,633 for Wymondham Dementia Support Group on September 29 and 30.
Each stall paid £30 for the weekend which went straight to the award-winning charity, and included the likes of All Fudged Up.
There were also competitions, with light hearted categories such as children’s colouring, giant vegetables, and sponge cake making.
The event, on Tuttles Lane in Wymondham, was organised by Centre owners Gary and £1,633 Broucott.
Mr Broucott said: “It was driven by a kind of Harvest Festival idea, we’ve always been to end of season shows which is always very exciting when you go into the floral marquee, or look at all the giant veg displays.”
