Part of a busy road running through a town centre will closed from 6pm due to gas replacement works.
Norfolk County Council has made a temporary traffic order for London Road, Attleborough at its junction with Hargham Road for a distance of 20 metres westwards.
The road will be temporarily closed, except for access, from Monday, February 5 to Wednesday, February 7 between 6pm and midnight for the duration of the works, which is expected to be three nights.
Alternative routes are via London Road, the A11, the B1077 Queens Road/Church Street/Surrogate Street/Connaught Road and High Street to the west, as well as High Street, the B1077 Exchange Street/Queens Road, the A11 and London Road to the east.
There is a £1,000 maximum fine for anyone convicted of breaking the rules of the traffic order.
