Fire ripped through a first floor flat above a kebab shop in Attleborough on Tuesday night - forcing the closure of a main town centre street.Smoke was billowing from the window of the flat while crews from Wymondham and Attleborough tackled the blaze in Exchange Street after the alarm was raised at 10.

Smoke was billowing from the window of the flat while crews from Wymondham and Attleborough tackled the blaze in Exchange Street after the alarm was raised at 10.23pm.
The blaze also sparked diversions for motorists as the one-way street was sealed off.
Paramedics were also on standby but a Norfolk Fire Service spokesman said there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
