Two 44-tonne abnormal loads are set to cause delays on Norfolk's busiest roads this week as police escort them through the region.

Tomorrow police will be escorting a 25-metre-long load from North Walsham to Poole in Dorset.

The vehicle will be transported at 9am on Tuesday from Gaymers Way via Folgate Road, the B1152, A149, B1152 and A1064 to reach the A47 via Stalham and Acle, then on to the A11 and A14 to the Cambridgeshire border.

The second abnormal load will be transporting deck moulding being escorted from Poole to Hoveton in the Norfolk Broads.

The vehicle will be transported at 11am on Thursday from the M11 via the A14, A11 and A47 to Acle before also taking the A1064, B1152 and A149 past Stalham and then the A1151 before taking local roads to the building site.
