More than 200 homes were left without electricity following a fault in the high-voltage network.
UK Power Networks reported that hundreds of households southwest of Norwich were experiencing a complete loss of power due to the issue.
Hingham, Barnham Broom, Barford and Scoulton were some of the areas affected.
The issue was first reported at 4.39pm and engineers attended the scene to assess the outage.
Power was restored sometime around 8pm.
