A Hertfordshire-based developer is lending a hand to a community in Norfolk after completing work on homes nearby.
White House Park in Attleborough comprises a selection of two, three and four-bedroom houses and apartments, constructed and developed by Matthew Homes.
Since starting work on the development, the firm has announced several sponsorships for local, community-based projects and sports stars.
This includes Louie Currie, 13, from Attleborough's ABC Boxing Club, who dreams of becoming a professional in the sport.
In recent years, Louie has become a development squad boxer. He says: “I am looking forward to more sparring and I am determined to push myself to be the best I can be. My dream is to become pro”.
Throughout 2023, developer Matthew Homes will also sponsor local community group, Attleborough Bloomers, which is led by town councillor Taila Taylor.
Already proud winners of four silver awards in 2019 by Anglia in Bloom, the team, comprising volunteers aged seven weeks to 70 years, has already planted an estimated 2,000 bulbs in Queen's Square.
Matthew Homes will be supporting the group through sponsorship and by supplying PPE to the Bloomers for their monthly litter pick, which meets every Sunday between 9am-12pm.
Sales director of Matthew Homes, Daniel Gallagher, said: “We are pleased and exceptionally proud to be able to help the local community in this way.”
Lynn Cudmore from Bidwells, selling agent for Matthew Homes at White House Park, said: “It is exciting to be involved with helping Matthew Homes find community-run opportunities.
“I have been incredibly impressed with the genuine care and enthusiasm that people like Taila Taylor bring to the local community, with a real desire to help.
“We hope that this is just the start of our involvement with the town, and through our sales and community-based spirit from White House Park, we hope this to be the start of a long and successful partnership between Matthew Homes, Bidwells and the residents and community of Attleborough.”
