One of the area's most popular summer events, this year's theme of Board Games has excited plenty of interest, and procession entries ranging from Cluedo to Scrabble will be vying for the prizes on offer on Saturday September 13.
The street parade starts at 1.30pm, led by the Southwold and Reydon Corps of Drums, followed by a programme of fun and games from 2pm at the village green.
Professional entertainers Oliver and Kate, of Knock Out Entertainment, will be delighting the children, and there will be displays by the Harleston Scouts.
Activities will include races and competitions for children and adults plus stalls and side shows. It is hoped that clubs, pubs or organisations will enter teams to compete in the tug-of-war.
