Further disruption should be expected on the A11 as its partial closure is extended another week.
The road was closed between Snetterton and Attleborough last Friday when an HGV careened through the central reservation and ended up on the other side of the dual carriageway.
Two of the road's four lanes were reopened a short while later - the left-hand lane on each side - but the other lanes remained closed to allow highway teams to replace the middle crash barrier.

This closure was initially planned to be lifted by the end of the weekend but a National Highways spokesman has since confirmed the lanes will remain closed for "the next week" at least.
He said: "Around 200m of the central reservation was significantly damaged following the HGV crash.
"The lane closures will be extended for the safety of road users passing through the section and to allow specialist engineers to carry out what is a complex and large-scale repair."
The lanes are shut between the B1111 Larling turnoff and the B1077 Snetterton junction.
