A landscaping business could be forced to scale back its operations at its site following objections from neighbours and officials.
Waveney Construction Landscaping put up several temporary shipping containers on land in Banham off New Buckenham Road without prior permission and has now applied retrospectively.
The business erected eight units over the last two years which have been used as an office and workshop space, for an electricity and water filtration room and for storage of items such as tools.

It has also applied to change the use of the site from agricultural to mixed agricultural and business use but Breckland Council planning officials have recommended it is refused.
There has been significant opposition to the growth of the business from locals, the parish council and Norfolk highways officers due to the noise, dust and movement of heavy lorries caused by work at the site.

People have also complained that the fact the business did not get prior permission for use of the land "makes a mockery" of planning regulations.
Breckland Council members will decide the future of the business next week.
