Archant

The NR F1 Podcast – recorded in the county that gave the world Team Lotus, Martin Brundle and a training ground to the likes of Ayrton Senna and Mark Webber – brings you its 2017 Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix Review.

It had been a decent start to the Formula 1 season – but things found a whole new level in Spain.

We had teary Thomas meeting his hero Kimi Raikkonen; it’s probably his reputation for liking ice-cream. Then there were the epic battles on track: Sebastien Vettel and Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and that last chicane.

Edition 164 of The NR F1 Podcast reviews round five of the 2017 F1 championship, as the Spanish Grand Prix in Catalunya is lit up by Pascal Wehrlein, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso and a Lewis Hamilton so hungry, he couldn’t even tell his race engineers to leave him to it.

The crew also dish out their Of The Weekend awards – with no shortage of candidates.

The NR F1 Podcast gets together in Norwich to send Norfolk’s views on the latest Formula 1 action out across the world.

From Team Lotus to Snetterton, Martin Brundle to the racing development of Ayrton Senna, Mark Webber, Johnny Herbert and more, Norfolk knows F1 – and wants to discuss it with you.

The pod’s recent activity also includes their review of the latest Formula 1 news, as well as reviewing the 2017 Russia Grand Prix and bringing you their predictions for the action in Barcelona.
