For the second weekend running, the Barnes Print Central & South Norfolk League programme was severely affected by the weather, with a hard overnight frost doing the damage.

Only seven of the 16 scheduled ties in the third round of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup were played.

Two First Fivision teams were beaten by teams from the lower divisions. North Elmham lost 6-2 at home to Brandon Reserves while Shipdham lost 3-1 to UEA A.

Attleborough Town A beat Tugas Utd 2-1 while Hethersett Athletic won 4-1 at Tacolneston Reserves. Holders Dereham Taverners ran up the highest score of the day in beating Cockers 10-0. Redgrave Rangers beat Dereham Taverners Reserves 2-0 while Longham Reserves won 5-1 at Taverham.

In Division Three East, Wensum Albion beat Briston Reserves 2-1 while in the West section leaders Gressenhall went marching on, beating Colkirk 2-0.
