Norfolk-based cancer charity to hold first ever sponsored event

A Norfolk cancer charity is appealing to people in the area to support their first ever sponsored event.

Wymondham-based Star Throwers will be holding a sponsored walk and obstacle course on July 14 at Old Buckenham Country Park from 10.30am-4pm.

Those attending the event can take the picturesque one-mile route at any pace they choose, and as many laps as they wish.

For more of a challenge, an obstacle course for ages eight and up is available alongside the walk.

The event includes lots of family activities, such as a mud kitchen area, “slip n slide”, and a barbecue.

Parking is free, a disability toilet is available and dogs are welcome.
