Part of A11 to close for emergency resurfacing work

Part of the A11 will be closed for the next 10 nights due to emergency resurfacing work.

There will be closures northbound on the carriageway between Attleborough and Thickthorn on weeknights between 8pm and 6am until Saturday March 24.

Tonight (Monday March 12) there will be a single lane closure northbound between Spooner Row and Tuttles Lane. The closure will last two nights and there will also be a closure of the A11 northbound entry slip road at Besthorpe lasting six nights.

Starting on Wednesday March 14 there will be a full northbound closure of the A11 between Spooner Row and Tuttles Lane, lasting seven nights. And on Friday March 22, the A11 will be closed there will be a full northbound closure of the A11

Traffic will be diverted along the B1172, through Wymondham and Hethersett, and the diversion route will be clearly signed.

Roadworks also continue this week on the A11 and A47 at Thickthorn roundabout as Highways England undertake extensive surveys of the road network.
