They died in one of history’s biggest tragedies.
And now a film featuring large-scale charcoal portraits of children murdered in the Holocaust is about to have its UK premier - at Wymondham College.
The college will screen the German-made documentary Drawing Against Oblivion on Thursday, March 16.
The film features the work of artist Manfred Bockelmann in chronicling the faces of the Holocaust’s young victims.
Jonathan Taylor, principal, said he was thrilled the college would show the award-winning film.
He said: “We are delighted to showcase such a powerful, award-winning documentary.
“Once again this demonstrates that Wymondham College offers a unique extra-curricular programme that is truly world class.”
The film has recently been launched in New Jersey and has also been shown in Miami, Berlin, Munich, Nice and Rome.
The college is showing the film as part of its long-running Lincoln Lecture series.
