The Sky1 series gives couples £14,000 to make their dream wedding a reality - the only downside is that only the groom can make decisions about the big day.

He has to plan everything about the wedding, from the dress to the hen party, in three weeks with no input from his future wife. The only help he can get is from his best man.

The series began on BBC3 in 2007 and has seen some wacky weddings, with people tying the knot everywhere from hot air balloons to swimming pools.

During the last series one couple met on Tinder so the groom decided to leave the wedding up to fate with his bride having to pick left or right options for the venue, dress, and hen party.

And another couple got married on bumper cars as this reminded the groom of the night he fell in love with his bride. They had attended a fun fair and it was when they were racing around the bumper car track that he realised she was the girl he wanted to spend his life with.
