A possible site for a new multi-million pound GP surgery has been earmarked by health bosses.
A larger NHS practice could be built on a vacant plot of land next to the Woodside Primary and Nursery School in Coachmaker Way, Hethersett.
It is not yet clear whether the surgery would exist as a separate service to the existing Humbleyard Practice in Great Melton Road - or if it would incorporate this and run as one large village practice.

According to parish council documents, South Norfolk Council (SNC) has put aside £6m from the capital budget to help fund the project.
The NHS has also hired a personnel manager to address the current challenges of staffing.
Local leaders in Hethersett have said a new practice is "desperately needed" to cope with the village's rapid housing boom.
It comes as the Humbleyard Practice - which has sites in Cringleford, Hethersett and Mulbarton - struggles to cope with soaring demand and a patient list of more than 21,750.
