This picture of a beautiful dawn was taken on Alison Fryett’s holiday to Majorca this year – and it has won her our last picture of the week prize in the current series.

Alison, from Attleborough, writes: “A trunk of a palm tree had been washed up on the beach overnight. I love how the sunlight is shining through the spray. It was well worth getting up early for.”
